Acceptance of Terms

By accessing bizhr.org or purchasing any product or service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use this website. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and purchasers.

Digital Products (Toolkits)

License

Upon purchase, BizHR.org grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the digital product (toolkit, template, guide) for your own internal business compliance purposes. You may customize templates for your own workplace.

Restrictions

• You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share purchased materials with third parties
• You may not represent purchased templates as your own original work for commercial purposes
• White-label or resale rights require a separate written agreement

Refund Policy

Digital products are delivered immediately upon purchase. Due to the nature of digital goods, all sales are final. If you experience a technical delivery issue, contact info@bizhr.org within 48 hours.

Consulting Services

Consulting engagements are governed by a separate written Service Agreement signed by both parties. These Terms apply generally; the Service Agreement controls in the event of conflict.

Payment

Consulting fees are due per the schedule in the Service Agreement. Late payments accrue interest at 1.5% per month (18% per year) as permitted under California law.

Cancellation

Engagements may be cancelled with written notice per the terms of the applicable Service Agreement. Discovery calls and initial consultations may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance via the booking platform without charge.

Training Services

Live training sessions are scheduled by mutual agreement. Rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Training that cannot proceed due to client-side cancellation with less than 48 hours notice may be billed at 50% of the agreed session fee. Training materials provided to employees during a session remain subject to the same restrictions as digital products above.

Intellectual Property

All original content on this website — including written content, page designs, compliance frameworks, training curricula, and template structures — is the intellectual property of BizHR.org. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute site content without written permission. Government-published materials (Cal/OSHA forms, CRD posters, statutory text) are in the public domain.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use this website for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its infrastructure
• Transmit malicious code, spam, or disruptive content
• Scrape or harvest content for commercial use without written permission
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting BizHR.org

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, BizHR.org's total liability for any claim arising from use of this website or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. See our Disclaimer for additional limitations.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute arising from these Terms or use of BizHR.org services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California. You consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use after posting constitutes acceptance.
